Refund policy

Change of Mind Returns

Customers may request a return within 14 days from the date of delivery, without prejudice to any additional rights provided under applicable law.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition in which it was received, including its original packaging and any accessories, labels, or materials supplied with it.

To process a return request, Customers must provide a receipt, order number, or other proof of purchase.

Products that have been used, damaged, are incomplete, or are otherwise not in their original condition cannot be accepted for return, unless the damage or defect was already present at the time of delivery.

The return request must be submitted within the 14-day period specified in this policy and in accordance with the procedures set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, except where the product received is defective, damaged, or does not correspond to the order.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where reimbursement of the original delivery costs is required under applicable law.

Exclusions from Returns

Due to the nature and storage requirements of certain products, food and beverage products cannot be returned where excluded from the right of withdrawal under applicable law, particularly in the case of perishable goods or sealed products that have been opened after delivery and are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons.

Any additional products excluded from the right of withdrawal will be clearly identified on the relevant product page or in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Sale and Promotional Items

Purchasing a product at a discounted or promotional price does not, in itself, exclude the Customer's right of withdrawal under applicable law.

The same return conditions therefore apply to discounted and promotional products as to other products, except for specific exclusions permitted by law and clearly communicated to the Customer before purchase.

Order Cancellation

Customers may request the cancellation of an order within 1 (one) hour of receiving the Order Confirmation, provided that the order has not already entered the preparation or shipping process.

Once this period has expired, or if preparation of the order has already begun, cancellation may no longer be possible.

To request a cancellation, Customers must promptly contact our Customer Service team at palermo@maravigghiasicily.eu, quoting their order number.

The option to request cancellation within one hour does not limit or replace any statutory right of withdrawal available to the Customer under applicable law.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received, Maravigghia Sicily Srl will inspect its condition and notify the Customer by email that the return has been received and of the outcome of the inspection.

If the return is accepted, the refund will be processed in accordance with the procedures and time limits established by applicable law and, wherever possible, will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed with the Customer.

Where permitted by applicable law, a refund may be refused or reduced if the product shows signs of handling, use, damage, or loss of value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.

Exchanges

Items may be replaced if they are defective, damaged during transit, or do not correspond to the order received.

To request a replacement with the same item, please contact our Customer Service team at palermo@maravigghiasicily.eu, quoting your order number and providing details of the issue.

Please do not return the product before receiving confirmation and return instructions from our Customer Service team.
