This wine, excellent for an aperitif or for a light fish-based meal, naturally expresses the crunchiness of Grillo. The palate is a perfect balance between freshness and long persistence, anticipated on the nose by the rich aromas of grapefruit, jasmine and tropical fruit.

Duca di Salaparuta chooses the single grape variety for one of its most representative wines of the island. Grillo, a native white grape, with a rich and versatile character, is expressed here in its brightest and most joyful shades. A connection with the territory also told on the label through the intensely Mediterranean colors of Renato Guttuso, a great twentieth-century Italian painter, originally from Bagheria, in his work Paesaggio dell'Aspra (1959, Oil on canvas, private collection).
