Frappello Frappato Nerello Mascalese
Elegance and minerality are the distinctive elements of "Frappello", a legacy of two grape varieties in a unique territory: the Marsala hinterland. The Frappato and Nerello Mascalese harvest takes place, expertly and by hand, among the lights and scents of the gentle hills surrounding the area. It continues in the cellar with maceration and fermentation, at a controlled temperature of 25°C for 15-20 days; stainless steel is also used for malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged partly in 225-liter barriques for 4 months, the rest for 8 months in stainless steel tanks. A fresh and generous red, with spicy notes, suitable for accompanying both meat and fish.
Both the name and the label were created in collaboration with Laboratorio Zanzara, in the spirit of social inclusion.
