Fruity, intense, organic. Frappo is one of the highlights of the Caruso & Minini quality pyramid. A rosé made from the finest hillside selection of Frappato grapes, hand-picked inland from Marsala between late September and early October. In the cellar, the grapes undergo 8 hours of maceration at 10°, gentle pressing, and fermentation of the must at a controlled temperature. The process concludes with 4 months of aging in steel tanks, followed by bottle aging. Fresh and lively, Frappo is characterized by an aromatic bouquet of strawberry and cherry, complemented by delicate acidity in an elegant blend of innovation and tradition. Finally, the label’s colours are particularly evocative, depicting a pink flamingo, an iconic bird of the Stagnone nature reserve.

Both the name and the label were created in collaboration with Laboratorio Zanzara, in support of social inclusion.

    Pale pink.

    On the nose, it is fresh and lively, with floral aromas and aromatic notes of cherry and red fruits.

  • Taste
    On the palate, it is fragrant. A pleasant acidic note stands out, along with pronounced hints of strawberry and cherry.

How to taste it

  • Pairings: Pairs well with light lunches, appetizers, seafood risotto, and fried fish.
  • Recommended glass: Tulip.
  • Serving temperature: 14–16 °C
