A bitter produced through maceration of carobs with the addition of some Sicilian herbs, it is characterized by a brown color and has an alcohol content of 32 degrees. The carob plant generates a fruit with an ancient and forgotten flavor which in the past replaced chocolate and is rich in mineral salts and vitamins.
Ideal for use at the end of a meal, Karat bitters are strong, intense and persistent and are also suitable for use in mixing, as an ingredient for creating cocktails.
Handcrafted in Sicily using fruits, leaves or herbs and processing takes place in a distillery located in Lercara Friddi, in the province of Palermo.
