Karat Sicilian Carob Amaro

A bitters produced by macerating carob with the addition of several Sicilian herbs, it is characterized by a brown color and has an alcohol content of 32%. The carob tree produces a fruit with an ancient, forgotten flavor that once replaced chocolate and is rich in mineral salts and vitamins.

Ideal as an after-dinner drink, Karat bitters is strong, intense, and persistent, and is also well suited for use in mixology as an ingredient in cocktails. 

Handcrafted in Sicily using fruits, leaves, or herbs, it is produced at a distillery located in Lercara Friddi, in the province of Palermo.
