In Lavico Etna Bianco, Carricante, a native grape variety of the Etna area, tells the story of its homeland through intense aromas of peach and exotic fruit, brightened by iodized and at times spicy notes. Savory and persistent on the palate, it has the freshness typical of the grape variety, which gives it structure and unexpected longevity, along with the minerality of roots deeply embedded in lava-rich soil.

At the foot of the volcano, in a region whose soil gives it unique characteristics, Duca di Salaparuta chose Tenuta di Vajasindi, in the municipalities of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo, for the new Lavico Etna DOC project. Here, it decided to explore the distinctive features of mountain viticulture, giving voice to the two native grape varieties, Carricante and Nerello Mascalese. Lavico Etna Bianco is therefore an expression of this challenging yet generous land, telling its story through the liveliness of Carricante, accompanied by balance, intensity and a persistent finish.

Place of origin - Tenuta di Vajasindi, located in northeastern Sicily, on the slopes of Mount Etna on the Alcantara Valley side. Municipalities of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo.
