A sweet wine grape introduced to Sicily by the Greeks, Malvasia produces wines of great intensity, excellent at the end of a meal to accompany, with their marked floral scents, sweets and desserts.

Harvest Period: From mid-September to the end of September

Fermentation: Very slow and at controlled temperature
Processing: Once the alcohol content reaches 4% vol. and a residual sugar content of 13%, wine alcohol is added to stop fermentation and reach the alcohol content of 16% vol.
Color: Amber yellow
Perfume: Intense and fruity
Taste: Sweet and delicate
Serving Temperature: Room temperature or very cold
Pairings: Typical dessert wine to pair with pastries and dry sweets. Excellent ingredient for the preparation of ice cream and trifles
