Sicilian Sulla Honey

Sulla honey is a monofloral honey typical of Sicily, with a delicate, floral, and persistent flavor. Sulla honey is famous for its numerous beneficial properties, including detoxifying, restorative, and soothing actions. Sulla belongs to the leguminosae family, strongly present in the Sicilian hills, and has purplish-red flowers. It flowers between April and June and after cutting is also used as fodder for animals.
