Passo delle Mule - Nero D'Avola DOC
Passo delle Mule - Nero D'Avola DOC
Pure Nero d'Avola, Passo delle Mule comes from the grapes of the Suor Marchesa estate, in the hinterland of southern Sicily. Here, soil, climate and good altitude constitute the perfect mix for the production of this enveloping wine, which shows softness yet with a notable freshness on the palate.
Vintage: 2021
Contains sulfites.
Passo delle Mule comes from grapes fully ripened in the late September sun on the sinuous and windy hills of the Suor Marchesa estate, where the warm, dry climate and a good temperature range represent the perfect combination for the production of this Nero d'Avola, which Duca di Salaparuta interprets in its softest and most acidic veins. Complex and structured, Passo delle Mule matures for at least ten months in very fine oak wood and refines for a long time in the bottle, to allow the best evolution of the bouquet.
It excels in combination with red meat dishes and medium-aged cheeses. Try it with… Potato crusted grouper on aubergine cream.
