Santo Stefano di Camastra is known as the "town of ceramics" and is one of the main production centers in Sicily. Its tradition began approximately three hundred years ago, when the inhabitants started using local clay to rebuild the town after a calamitous event.

Over time, the production shifted from everyday objects to artistic ceramics, made of unique colors, glazes, tiles, mosaics, and decorations. Even today, this art represents the heart of local identity and economy, combining artisanal tradition with new forms of creativity.
