Santo Stefano di Camastra is known as the “town of ceramics” and is one of Sicily’s main production centers. Its tradition began around three hundred years ago, when residents started using local clay to rebuild the town after a catastrophic event.

Over time, the production of everyday objects evolved into artistic ceramics, made up of colors, glazes, tiles, mosaics, and unique decorations. Even today, this art represents the heart of the local identity and economy, combining artisan tradition with new forms of creativity.
